Brief: 

Chinestory was a two-year collaboration with Dr. Fan to design a storybook and app to teach Chinese to native English speakers. Drawing upon my own experience teaching English as a second language, I was very methodical about designing with enough whitespace to allow students to learn and absorb the material as they read, without interrupting the flow of the story. A lot of research and testing went into how to best design the book and app to maximize learning.
